Past District Governor Dennis Dinsmore explained why we should give to the Rotary Foundation. 
PDG Dennis said there are three good reasons to give to the foundation. First, the Foundation magnifies what a individual club can accomplish. Because of district and world grants, much more financial resource can be brought to a project. Second, the foundation is a very well run charity. The Foundation has consistently rated four star by Charity Navigator. Third, it feels good to being good in the world. For example, when Polio is finally defeated, we will all know we had a part in the success.
