PDG John Eberhard on Haiti

PDG John Eberhard outlined how our club can help Haiti in its recovery from earthquake and hurricane devastation.  Several Rotary clubs are joining the local Rotary club in Aquin Haiti.  The 2010 earthquake and the aftermath of hurricane Matthew.  The combination of these events destroyed the fishing industry, beekeeping, agricultural industry, schools, and community buildings.  Small financial contributions can result in significant improvements through various foundations including the Rotary Foundation.  Programs such as boat building, bee hive construction, mango processing, fishing equipment production can be funded through these foundations and make a difference in the lives of some of the 1.5 million homeless in Haiti.
