Linda Badke presented her classification talk at our July 26th meeting.  Linda grew up in Montreal, graduated from Queens and started teaching deaf children in Winnipeg.  After several years in Winnipeg she moved to Ontario and ended her teaching career in Dorchester teaching various split grades from 1 to 4.
Linda is an avid traveler.  One of her most recent trips was to the Camino de Santiago.  Her group hiked from the Basque area of France to Santiago de Compostelia in Spain.  The approximately  800 Km  was a combination  guided hiking  tour and part bus tour.  The hiking tour covered about 20 Km per day and included meals and hotel accommodation.  Linda provided a slide presentation showing the kind of terrain the route passed though and some of her fellow travellers.  The group ranged in age from teenagers to fit 70 year olds.  Our club will benefit from Linda's experience and enthusiasm.
