New RCLS Member, Pavan Jayaraj, thanks our Speaker, Lloyd Stacey, for his informative presentation about the London Middlesex Crime Stoppers. This charitable organization consists of volunteers who work independently from, but in partnership with the local police services by being the intermediary between the Tipster and Investigator. They ensure that tips from the community remain anonymous and that qualifying tips are properly compensated. Tipsters do not share their identify and must follow-up with the code they receive in order to collect any cash reward. They are guided by a volunteer Board of Directors in partnership with a Program Coordinator. Fundraising is a major component required of their volunteers.
