Rotarians and friends from the five London Rotary Clubs gathered Oct 24th to celebrate nominees for the JERODA award as well as Community Paul Harris Award recipients including former RCLS member Steve Cordes.
We wanted to recognize Steve's contribution to the community as he just retired from over 30 years as Executive Director of YOU - Youth Opportunities Unlimited and Joan's Place one of our Community Service Projects.
The Area 4 clubs put forth nominees for the second JERODA - John Eberhard Rotarian of Distinction Award to honour Rotarians showing exemplary service, leadership, and dedication and who had strengthened camaraderie and inspired excellence in the Area. The committee found that each nominee excelled in these areas and decided to honour each with this distinguished award presented by last years honouree, Jim Belton: Joan Fisher (South) Rick Coates (London) Barb Robins (Hyde Park) Drew Annable (Lambeth) Vic Vigma (North).
