Yvone Joubert described the Clubhouse App and how it is connecting Rotarians worldwide. Clubhouse App is a new type of social network based on voice—where people around the world come together to talk, listen, and learn from each other in real-time.  Currently a Rotary forum is hosted on the app every Saturday morning for discussion of various topics of interest to Rotarians.  One week it might have a forum on fighting poverty and micro loans or other similar topics which Rotarians are sponsoring.  The App is available on Google Play or the Apple Store.

Originating from Cape Town, South Africa, Yvone came to Canada with her family at a young age and found in Rotary an opportunity to give back to her new community.
Yvone joined Interact in 2009, and discovered her passion for Rotary. She is a RYLA alumni, has served her district as chair for the Rotary Youth Program of ENrichment (RYPEN) camp, and has had the opportunity to represent district at international RYLA programs, zone institutes and the Rotary International Assembly.
Outside of Rotary, Yvone has an opportunity to share her philanthropic passion through her career; she works as a donor engagement coordinator with the University Hospital Foundation where she has an opportunity to work with donors to the foundation to advance patient care and innovation at the University of Alberta Hospital, the Mazankowski Heart Institute and the Kaye Edmonton Clinic.
Today, Yvone is a proud Rotaractor from MacEwan Rotaract, she currently serves as the Deputy General Secretary for Rotaract Canada MDIO, she's a member of her district's peacebuilder committee, past District Rotaract Chair and recently started the District 5370 Rotaract Committee.
